SERHANT.'s New AI Doesn't Wait to Be Asked

SERHANT. has unveiled S.MPLE 2.0, the next version of the AI platform it built for its own agents. The headline feature is Dot, a conversational interface that works less like a chatbot and more like a chief of staff. An agent describes the outcome they want, and Dot gathers the context, starts the workflow and coordinates the specialized AI agents underneath it.

"Chatbots give you answers, but S.MPLE 2.0 gives you outcomes," said founder and CEO Ryan Serhant. Chief technology officer Greg Chan, whose background includes Amazon and Microsoft, described the jump more concretely. "It can take one objective, break it into 20 steps, coordinate five specialized AI agents and return a completed result."

What the first version delivered

S.MPLE 1.0 launched in October 2024. Since then, the company says it has processed more than 54,000 requests, served over 2,000 active agents and returned nearly 28,000 hours of work time.

SERHANT. also reports that agents who joined the firm and adopted S.MPLE over the past 24 months grew their gross commission income by an average of 144% compared with their prior firm. That number deserves a careful read. It compares agents against their previous brokerage, so it blends the effect of the software with the effect of switching firms, and the agents who switch and adopt early are likely the most driven to begin with. It is a company figure, not an independent study.

From reactive to proactive

The bigger shift is behavioral. Version 1.0 waited for instructions. Version 2.0 watches an agent's calendar, email and CRM and acts on what it sees. It can notice a new preapproval and start a showing plan, surface clients who have gone 90 days without contact, and deliver a daily briefing.

Compliance is built into the workflows rather than checked afterward, with reviews against the Fair Housing Act, RESPA and Sherman Act antitrust rules. The system is trained on SERHANT.'s own deals, coaching programs and its Sell It education platform rather than a generic model.

Why it matters

Most brokerage AI so far does one job at a time. One tool writes the listing description, another drafts the email. Dot is a bet that the winning product is the layer that coordinates all of them and starts work before the agent thinks to ask. Rollout begins in early October and expands through the fourth quarter, and it is only available to SERHANT. agents for now.

The open question is trust. An assistant that acts on its own inside an agent's inbox has to be right almost every time, and the bar is highest where fair housing rules apply.
